Robert Louis Stevenson - The Love Story

First apologies for not blogging of late. I know blogging should be regular but workload has taken over recently. But to continue the topic of 'greats' on Kindle... My friend and fellow crime writer Alanna Knight is also a biographer of Robert Louis Stevenson. I have been helping her put her great Inspector Faro Series onto Kindle and the result has been fantastic. So she recently gave me a copy of her out of print love story of Robert Louis Stevenson and Fanny Osbourne. I've always loved and been influenced by Stevenson's books. A master storyteller, he made his characters so real. My admiration has increased even more on reading the story of his courtship and marriage to Fanny, the adventures they had, which were even more amazing than the fictional ones he wrote. I'm in awe of his passion for people, his joy in life despite courting death so many times, but most of all his abiding and enduring love for Fanny and she for him will live with me forever. A love, Henry James so movingly described as: 'A fable, strange and romantic as one of Louis's own.'
Will alert you once it's up on Kindle.
