I like this new world where authors have (a little) more power than they had before.
As for power... you can change lots of things even after you've posted your book. You can change the price (maybe a special offer for a week?) hone your pitch. Focus in on your target readers via your tags. The world is your oyster. If you want to improve your cover later you can. There is so much power. It makes me giddy just thinking about it.
